It’s all about creating cool living spaces and neat tech solutions – kind of like a grown-up’s version of building forts and playing with gadgets.
About me
I’ve worn a few hats over the years – from sales to tech – but what really gets me excited now is dreaming up ways to live better and use technology wisely. I’m not just talking about fancy gadgets, but about making real, meaningful changes in how we live and interact with our surroundings.
My Experience

Simple is better than complex.
For me, life’s about keeping things real and simple. I believe in making promises I can keep and starting small – it’s like planting seeds and watching them grow. Every project I dive into, from Driftdwells.com to wasoe.com, begins with just the essentials, and from there, it’s a gradual journey of growth and learning.
I’m a fan of simplicity in all things. Complex ideas? They’re cool, but I find beauty in clarity and straightforwardness. I resonate with the creators of Python who said, ‘Beautiful is better than ugly. Explicit is better than implicit. Simple is better than complex.’ That’s my mantra, whether I’m dreaming up new living spaces or tinkering with tech.

My Education
The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.
I am a self-taught web developer, having honed my skills through independent study and utilizing online resources. Despite not pursuing formal education in web development, I have successfully founded and grown a company, Wasoe.com, starting at the age of 16. In addition, I have pursued education in other areas of interest such as sound engineering and event management.
To further develop my knowledge in business management, I pursued a degree in commercial economy, though I found that the theoretical approach did not align with the practical experience I had gained through running my company. I subsequently transferred to a hands-on university program in Entrepreneurship at the University of Rotterdam. However, as my company continued to grow, I ultimately had to make the difficult decision to drop out and focus fully on the development of Wasoe.
